07/01/2024 - Companies who violate Right to Repair

In the state of New York, it is a law that electronics manufacturers must provide tools, parts and documentation for procedures on repair of various items. Some companies try to negate the law by making electronics so complex, they can't be fixed by the average person. They are still compliant however, because they have parts, tools and the documentation to go along with them. I think this is a major loophole that must be closed. This law should be nationwide, but the bugs need to be worked out for a national debut.
