Windows 10 End of Support
As of now, Windows 10 is currently out of support. That means you wont be getting security updates or feature updates. If you have a capable PC, you should upgrade to Windows 11 at this point. However, if your PC is not supported, there are things you can do.
If you download the Windows 11 ISO from Microsoft and then use Rufus to make a bootable USB stick, Rufus will be able to help you bypass the TPM, Secure Boot and CPU requirements. However, you won't get new version updates. You'll have to install those manually. But, for that extra headache, you get Windows 11. And it works just fine. It's designed to. Most people don't realize that Microsoft did this to boost sales of prebuilt PC's with Windows on them, not because they actually care about you or your experience. Like every other corporation, they care about money and nothing else.
I suggest you do what I did. Ditch them. My PC runs Linux and it's a fabulous system. I run Manjaro, and arch based distro. I was hesitant to use it for a long time because of things I have heard either about it, or the developers. However, after actually using it and taking 30 minutes to familiarize myself with how it works, I can honestly say, I love it. I use it on everything I have, except one laptop from 2012 that is just not powerful enough and it runs Debian. But, everything else, runs Manjaro. I think if you try it, you'll like it. Give it a chance, you don't need to loose Windows to try it out either. Dual boot the PC and have both. That what I do on my desktop. I have Windows 10 on its own Hard drive, and I only use it when I need to do something with Windows specific hardware. That's why I'm not upgrading it. It's not worth it. In 2 years, I haven't used Windows once.
See for yourself what the world of Linux can do for you. Trust me, once you've been gone from Microsoft for some time, you won't go back.
